The bridge runs on your Mac. Straeder does not receive messages, calendar items, or account details through the app.
The beta is not available yet.
This is a design and documentation preview. There is intentionally no download link: signing, Apple notarization, and clean-Mac acceptance must pass first.
Local, scoped, and under your control
Explicit selection
You select Mail accounts and calendars separately. New accounts are never selected automatically.
Protected actions
Sending mail and deleting Mail or Calendar items require one-time confirmation in the bridge.
What the local alpha supports
- Search and read mail; move messages; mark as read; flag; manage drafts; send; and delete.
- Search, read, create, update, and delete Calendar items, including safe recurrence profiles and alerts.
- Check availability without returning notes, alarms, or other full event content.
- Content-free local diagnostics, recovery for uncertain operations, and an audit log without Mail or Calendar content.
Planned first beta
Apple silicon (arm64) running macOS 15.6–26.x. Codex or ChatGPT desktop runs on the same Mac; ChatGPT web cannot start the local stdio helper directly.
